I am Jianghai CHEN, you can call me Jianghai or Michael if you prefer. I am a post-graduate student of The University of Hong Kong. Before that, I obtained my Bachelor degree at Nankai University supervised by Prof Boyuan Yang. Please check my CV for further information. I am now in the Speech Semantics at Huawei Noah Ark’s Lab(HongKong) with Xiaozhe Ren(Jocab).

Research

My current research mainly focus on High-Performance Deep Learning Systems(MLsys) and Self-supervised Learning (e.g. Contrastive Learning, Masked Modeling).I am always happy to chat with others about interesting research ideas, and looking for academic collaborations. Specifically I am interested in the following research topics:
        HPC: Model Parallelism and Large-scale Pretraining.
        NLP/CV: Language/Vision Modeling. Specifically MOE models.
